Lead in a way that reflects the world you’re working toward.
Leadership Development for Values-Driven Organizations and Visionary Leaders
Are you a visionary leader?
A visionary leader is someone who lives with a deep awareness of the gap between current ways of being and what they sense is possible.
They choose to organize others toward that future with humility, creativity, and a commitment to build new ways of working together. They act from whole-hearted commitment rather than certainty, taking responsibility for the process without guarantees about the outcome. They trust that meaningful change requires fundamental shifts in practice, and are willing to try and try again.
Visionary leaders are building the next world inside this one — and it’s not an easy moment to stay hopeful. We partner with teams who see this time of crisis as a pivotal chance to build something sturdier, more connected, and more alive than what came before.
We help visionary leaders grow the capacities required to lead from a power-with stance(rather than power-over).
These are the core skills.
Working with Power, Not Avoiding It
Attending to power differences openly and using authority responsibly.
Holding Multiple Needs at Once
Facilitating solutions that meet collective goals while honoring individual needs, including their own.
Growing Others into Their Own Authority
Shifting from directing work to developing people.
Warmth with Accountability
Balancing care and support with clear expectations and shared responsibility.
Emotional Regulation Under Pressure
Staying grounded when disliked, challenged, or uncertain.
Sustainable Leadership
Leading in ways that prevent burnout rather than rely on over-functioning.
Invaluable in helping us live our values
“We aspire to create a culture where everyone's voice truly matters - but balancing deep inclusion with daily realities of organizational life isn't easy. Jo has been invaluable in helping us live into our values, designing and facilitating thoughtful processes that transform potential conflicts into productive decision-making moments. His impressive ability to think systemically while remaining practical and approachable, combined with his reliability and deep commitment to effectiveness, makes him a genuine joy to work with.”

Ways to Work Together
-
Coaching supports you in strengthening the inner and relational capacities that shape how you use power, navigate complexity, and develop others. We work with the real situations you are facing while building long-term leadership capacity.
-
We provide leadership training through in-person and virtual workshops that expand how leaders approach authority, accountability, conflict, and decision-making. Many leaders inherited models centered on control and individual authority. Our workshops introduce alternative practices better suited for mission-driven organizations seeking shared ownership, trust, and long-term resilience. Leaders leave with new language, practical tools, and expanded capacity to lead in ways that grow people, and a healthy culture.
-
Resilience Retreats are weekend retreats in a nature-immersed retreat center designed to support nonprofit and community leaders who are working toward visionary change in a time of profound disruption and collapse, conditions that run directly counter to the world they are trying to build. These retreats offer restorative time in nature alongside peer thought partnership with other leaders facing similar challenges, creating space for reflection, clarity, and renewed capacity.
